Flashback Friday

In November of 2007 Chris fell through our ceiling as some of you remember I am sure. Here is the story.....

I got a call from Chris as I was on my way home from work he had a frantic tone to his voice. He told me he fell through the ceiling in our bedroom and that he couldn't move. I have never had so much adrenalin running in my life. When I got home his dad was already at our house and had called 911. We ended up with about 15 firefighters in our living room (they all had dirty boots too). I should mention that our driveway is about 100 feet long and steep the firefighters and paramedics all ran up the driveway. They carried Chris down the driveway and Chris and I got a ride in an ambulance to the hospital. He was released later that night and told he needed to rest.

The reason he fell through... he had wet shoes and stepped on a rafter in the attic and slipped.

Spring is on the way......

Finally the proof that spring is around the corner! The frog in the background was always at my grandma and grandpa's growing up. When we cleaned out their house I ended up with it! As most people know I collect frogs. This one is extra special though.

This is what I am day dreaming about right now.....a vacation to Maui. I know we were just there in October. Don't worry people we have no plans of going back any time soon "due to the economy". I just wanted to share one of my favorite Hawaii photos. I posted a few more to flickr too if you want to check them out.

Snow After We Spring Forward?????

So the snow is back once again. Spring just has to be around the corner I see daffodil sprouts in the yard. Chris is ready for summer.....

This Weekend

Friday was our anniversary Chris took me out to dinner the restaurant was a surprise! First time he has ever done that :) We went to Nicki's Bella Marina It was nice we had a great dinner. We had most the restaurant to ourselves which was nice.

Saturday Chris took his Grandma Pearl to get her hair done (it was our Birthday gift to her). Sat. night I went and saw my nephew Austin at my parents my mom was babysitting. (see pictures below)

Sunday Chris and I went ice skating. I finally got to try out my new skates!

5 Years

Birthday Snow.....

Sorry I am slacking on posting. Last Wednesday was my birthday as most of you know and we had snow!!!!! I can only remember having snow on my birthday one other time in my life I may be wrong. We ended up with 6" of snow at our house. Here are some pictures of the snow.





Now today we are back to almost 60 degree weather! Maybe spring is on the way. I do see my daffodils sprouting!
